Tipsy Taxi is a serious attempt to curb the current epidemic of drink
related road traffic accidents and DUI convictions in Casper and
surrounding areas.
At its most basic, Tipsy Taxi is a privately funded bank account held by the Central Wyoming Counseling Center (CWCC). Drinkers who believe their driving may be impaired due to alcohol will receive a FREE taxi ride home.
The Taxi Company is reimbursed the cost of the trip from that fund.
Tipsy Taxi does NOT include a tip for your driver so please feel free to
tip if you wish. In past years, discounted taxi rides were offered only
over the Christmas and New Year's periods.

How it works
Every Bar in Casper, Mills, Evansville and Bar Nunn have been issued with books of Tipsy Taxi Vouchers. If you feel you have consumed too much alcohol to safely drive home, ask your bartender to call a Tipsy Taxi for you.They will fill out a voucher and call you a Taxi.
When the taxi arrives the driver is given the voucher and he will drive you home.
The only real restrictions on Tipsy Taxi are that it may not be used for trips from bar to bar and that the trip must be to take you directly home. If leaving your vehicle causes you to get a parking ticket from the City, the ticket will be waived upon proof of using Tipsy Taxi to get home.
It’s as simple as that. There are no strings attached. It’s a total Win - Win situation.
